Facility Member – $200
General Member – $125
Associate Member – $100
NP/RN/PA/RPh-PharmD Member – $75
Fellow/Resident Member – fee waived
Student Member – fee waived

Membership Categories

• General Member:

  Any licensed physician who has an interest in or whose professional medical services are provided in full or in part within a long-term care facility. Membership in this category is not limited to Medical Directors. Members in this category shall receive full voting privileges and are eligible to hold office.

• Nurse Practitioner / Registered Nurse / Physician Assistant / RPh-PharmD

  Any licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP), Registered Nurse (RN), Physician Assistant (PA), or long-term care Pharmacist (RPh or PharmD) who has an interest in or whose professional services are provided in full or in part within a long-term care facility.  NP/RN/PA/PharmD/RPh members may attend meetings of the membership and may speak thereat, but shall not have voting privileges. One NP/RN/PA member serves on the Board of Directors in an advisory capacity.

• Facility Member:

  A long-term care facility may join as an entity, whereas the benefits of active membership would apply for multiple individuals on staff at one facility who are involved in the clinical or administrative functions of that facility.  A non-physician facility member may include the Director of Nursing, Owner, or Chief Administrator. Only the physician member is eligible to vote and hold office. All individuals under a facility membership may register for symposia at the member rate. A facility membership may include either 1 Physician AND 1 non-physician OR 3 non-physicians.

• Associate Member:

  Granted to any individual, group, or organization interested in participating in or promoting the affairs of the GMDA. Associate members may attend meetings of the membership and may speak thereat, but shall have no voting privileges and are not eligible to hold office.

• Fellow/Resident Member:

Any physician enrolled in a Geriatric Fellowship program or Internal/Family Medicine program who has an interest in long-term care medicine.

• Student Member:

Any student enrolled in medical, physician assistant, nursing, or pharmacy school who has an interest in geriatric/long-term care medicine.
